About Me
6th Grade Humanities, India
Hi! I am Gigi Hindin, and I am an Educator. I have been in the field of education professionally since graduating from Dominican University in 2000. I have been a homeroom teacher in 2nd – 5th grade and a middle school teacher, teaching 6th grade Humanities and 7th grade English.
I have taught in Northern California at both private and public schools and overseas at accredited private international schools in Japan and Italy, and in India at the American International Consulate School in Chennai.
I returned from over-seas teaching in 2011 to take up a permanent residence in Mill Valley where I live with my fiancé and stepdaughter. Outside of the classroom, in my personal life, I take pleasure in exploring both the urban and natural surroundings. I hike, practice yoga, swim, enjoy spending time with friends and family, meeting new people, and exploring far off countries and cultures during my holidays.
